In Aegean Special Weddings you can choose packages for Symbolic wedding ceremonies, Civil weddings ceremonies, Greek Orthodox wedding ceremonies (The wedding packages for Greek Orthodox weddings are for inside ceremonies as the local priests of Santorini do not perform ceremonies outside of the churches) or Renewal of Vows.
Symbolic wedding ceremonies are very popular in Santorini since there is no need for any preparation or legal wedding documents but then are exactly the same as legal weddings and are addressed to those who have difficulty gathering the legal documentation needed according to the Greek requirements or for those who are already married and they wish to renew their vows.
So if you do not have time to gather all the documents for a legal wedding and if you don’t want to bother going though translations, Apostille act and the cost of gathering your documents is too high for you a Symbolic wedding might be a perfect idea.
The ceremony is exactly the same as the legal wedding and it will be performed by the wedding celebrant who does the legal weddings so none of your guests will know the difference as there is confidentiality between you and our agency. A clever idea is to have a Legal wedding in your country (very easy!) and have a Symbolic ceremony in Santorini without telling anything to your guests !
